WHY SPAY & NEUTER YOUR PET?
Spaying your female pet or neutering your male pet can help prevent behavioral and medical problems which will give your pet a longer and healthier life. "Fixing" your pets will also reduce unwanted litters and pet overpopulation. Millions of healthy, adoptable pets are destroyed in shelters every year simply because there are not enough homes for these animals. G.A.I.N.'s goal is to reduce, and ultimately, eliminate the need to euthanize healthy, adoptable pets in Gratiot County. Help us reach this goal by altering your pets!
G.A.I.N. can also help keep your barn cat or community cat population in check with its Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program.
